Under President-elect Donald Trump's previous administration, Joseph Maldonado was never pardoned despite his request. Now the Tiger King star has hopes in Matt Gaetz. Maldonado has written a plea of innocence to Gatz from behind bars and started off the letter with congratulations for his appointment. Maldonado went on to say you will have the power to correct this or at least recommend to President Trump to correct this in January. Maldonado is currently serving 22 year sentence.
