Theme Park in Northeast Oklahoma to Create Route 66 Atmosphere

A new theme park being built in northeast Oklahoma will bring with it a real “Route 66” vibe. State Senator Mike Bergstrom says the American Heartland Theme Park will be constructed along the historic road in Vinita.

“…located basically at the intersection of Route 66 and Highway 82, just coming outside of Vinita…,” Bergstrom said.

The first part of the two billion dollar project should be complete by 2025 – and the rest of it by the following year.
