The University of Oklahoma and others are preparing for increased costs due to preliminary settlements in the House versus NCAA class action lawsuit. The university has now hired former AT&T CEO and OU alum Randall Stephenson to lead the program. The landmark legal agreement would require the NCAA and major conferences to compensate college athletes for the name, image and likeness and allocate money to those who were denied NIL earnings dating back to 2016.
