Veterans Who Qualify for Sales Tax Exemption Reminded to Take Action to Receive Benefits

Oklahoma veterans who are classified as 100 percent disabled qualify for a sales tax exemption. However, the previous tax bill included a deadline for registering with the State Department of Veteran Affairs to receive that benefit, which many missed.  The veteran department spokesperson, Jennifer Bloomfield, explains how they are addressing that problem.

Bloomfield reminds qualified veterans to get on their registry to receive all the benefits to which they are entitled.
