Included in the state Education Departments proposed 4-point 1-billion-dollar budget for the next fiscal year is 3-million dollars for bibles. State School superintendent Ryan Walters says he has already set aside another 3-million for bible purchases although he refused to say where that money came from. State lawmakers are already displeased with the request which includes half a million dollars to train select teachers to carry a gun.
