There is no vaccine for West Nile Virus, and the mosquito-born illness is showing up now in central, south-central, and southeastern Oklahoma.
“Eighty percent of individuals that become infected with West Nile never show any signs or symptoms…,” said State Epidemiologist, Jolianne Stone.
