It's not clear if the Governor's choice for Secretary of Tourism will win Senate confirmation. Shelley Zumwalt’s nomination by the Governor is in jeopardy because of a state Audit revealing her alleged involvement in millions of misspent federal funds. Senate leaders won’t commit either way to her appointment.
